Detaching myself is just one of many effects to be quite honest. I know I haven't really answered the question clearly of why I was missing, so last August 01, 2015 I received an interview letter from the US National Visa Center. I have been keeping mum of what was really happening to my petition for the past months, even my friends and relatives had no idea. Though I wasn't really able to control myself that I shared it to my three closest friends. I really wanted to finish the whole process before I divulge every single detail.
It was stated in the letter that my interview at the US embassy was scheduled September 14, 2015 (It was three days ago). So during the whole time I was missing I had to undergo a medical examination at St. Luke's Medical Center and as well as complete my clearances, both of which are part of the requirements needed at the interview.
Fast-forward.... Everything went well :D I got my visa approved last Monday and today I received a package from the US Embassy containing my passports and visa packet. To be quite honest I'm happy that I was able to survive and somehow complete the whole process (I have a couple of orientation to attend then off I go).
Gigantic change, right? I would prove myself brave and embrace this new chapter - slash- journey in my life with open arms and a huge smile. There may be a part of me who's feeling sad because I would be leaving my family and friends behind but I know God opened this chapter with a pretty good reason so I shouldn't really feel such.

Oh! Before I really end this blog entry, I would be having entries containing my experiences during the medical examination and as well as the interview. So watch out for it!
Have a safe trip! Looking forward to your posts about it :)

ReplyDeleteI have abandoned my personal Facebook page a while ago. Sometimes I regret it because people get upset I didn't "like" their photo, but then I think about it and I am glad I've been off because true friendship doesn't equal a "like" lol - sorry for a mini rant.
Anyway, just popping in to say thanks for a lovely comment on my blog. Do come back ;)
